George Soveen is the visionary founder of the studio. With over two decades of experience in the interior design industry, George has built a reputation for excellence, working on high-profile projects across various sectors, including hospitality, commercial spaces, and residential design. After completing his graduation in Commerce from MG University, George pursued his passion for interior design, furthering his education at Ex-In. His career began at Exterior Interiors Pvt Ltd in Kolkata, and over the years, he honed his skills with prominent firms such as Dearch Architects in Delhi, Mark Interiors in Dubai, and Ajit Associates in Kochi. These formative years gave George a diverse perspective on design, shaping his creative vision.
In 2009, George co-founded Fogalom Designs, which allowed him to showcase his unique design sensibilities. In 2013, he and his wife launched AETAS DESIGN STUDIO, which has since become a leading name in the industry. Under his leadership, the studio has delivered exceptional interiors for a wide range of clients, from luxury hotels and high-end residences to corporate offices, unique automobile showrooms and commercial spaces. The studio continues to grow, driven by George’s passion for creating beautiful, transformative spaces.
Cisy Soveen is the co-founder. With a strong foundation in both architecture and interior design, Cisy brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project she undertakes. Cisy holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) degree from IIA’s specialized architecture program at SAP Chennai, alongside a Diploma in Architecture from Women’s Polytechnic in Kalamassery and a Diploma in Interior Designing from Ex-In. Her educational background laid the groundwork for a career dedicated to designing spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
Before co-founding AETAS DESIGN STUDIO, Cisy gained extensive experience in the field through roles at prominent firms such as Foliage Architects, Ajit Associates, Ecorythm, and Menon Architects. In 2011, she joined SFS Builders, contributing to their specialized Interior Wing, SFS VISTA, where she further honed her skills in interior design.
Cisy’s passion for teaching has also been a significant aspect of her career. She has served as a guest lecturer at Women’s Polytechnic, Kalamassery, and as a faculty member at Sanskriti School of Interior Designing, the Interior Designing Institute of Designer + Builders, D-Zign School of Interior Designing, and JD School of Design all based in Kochi. Her dedication to educating the next generation of designers reflects her deep commitment to the industry.

Anupama graduated with a first class with distinction Diploma in Architectural from women’s Polytechnic college in 2020. She has worked in Gaya groups Ernakulam and Dutch Design Decoration in UAE on a wide range of projects specializing in interior works & polishing her skills further in design development for architecture and interior concepts.

Megha graduated with a First-Class Bachelor of Technology degree in civil from Kerala Technical University in 2023. Prior to that, she earned a First-Class with Distinction Diploma in Architecture from Women’s Polytechnic College in 2020.
She has gained valuable experience working at Sandhya and Associates in Kozhikode, where she contributed to a diverse range of projects. Her portfolio includes everything from large-scale housing developments to smaller interior renovations, allowing her to gain hands-on expertise across all phases of a project—from inception to completion while specializing in detailing and estimation.
