The project involves designing the residence for Mr. Noor Zaman and family, located in Thrissur. The continuous discussions with Mr. Zaman and family brought more clarity on their requirements and needs. The house is designed to blend and bring in the nature and the surrounding environment to the interiors. Yet they preferred an industrial style interior, a total change from what you see on the exteriors. We look forward to see this residence completed and enjoy the pleasure of seeing a happy family living in their dream house cuddling their requirements to reality and making our residence their home filled with their laughter’s and happy moments.

The building spreads about the width of the plot with a main entrance and a service entry from two roads. The building is positioned in such a way to ensure two different accesses to the residence. The design element is the wrapped double roof that starts as strip walls from ground extending over the roof beneath and acting as a shade for the main balcony. The house is provided with three courtyards all three of which have views from the dining area. These courtyards serve different purpose as one serves as coffee deck, while serves as play court and other to enhance green landscape. The staircase area is also treated very carefully to stand up as a design element of its own. The steps are to be enhanced with oxidised metals sheets. This area is enclosed with glass on all three sides with one side overlooking to a vertical garden wall.

The plan opens up from the foyer to a spacious family area and wide open airy spaces well lighted. The double height area adds to airy feeling of the residence and the bridge acts like a bond of love that can be taken all way up and down binding the home.
